Meet my Parrot, Birdie.

Yeah, his name is Birdie. This was my uncle’s, and I don’t know why he didn’t gave him a more decent name other than the obvious. He likes to eat sunflower seeds, mangoes and bananas. I’m not quite sure how old he is, Im guessing he’s already 11 yrs old. Coz he’s been with my uncle since my highschool years. I would want to buy him a new cage or maybe just repaint it to give it a new look.

He’s like a dog actually. He tweets whenever someones comes in to our house, and whenever I leave for work. An when I say he tweets, he tweets a lot! He does some tricks like swirling, dancing and he poses whenever someone takes a photograph of him.

TODAY: 27June2011

And just this morning, I noticed that his cage was empty. I asked my mom where is he, and she said , “wala na.” I said, “anong wala na?” “Patay na.”

I thought he was just being quite, yun pala wala na sya.

Mom said that he’s been eating a little the past couple of weeks and he was found dead in his cage morning of 16June2011.

Nalungkot ako bigla. Mamimiss ko ang birdie ko na since Highschool ay kasa-kasama ko na. Wala ng sasalubong sakin pagdating na maingay na parang aso na winiwelcome ang pagdating ng kanyang amo. Walang titigil sa harap ng bahay namin para tignan sya dahil sa sobrang ingay nya.

Wala na ang Birdie ko.
